The MK7 VW Golf R is the latest in the line of VW hot hatches and the fastest Golf to date. With a fantastic mix of an all new 296bhp engine and the latest generation Haldex 4-wheel drive system, even in standard trim it’s a force to be reckoned with. But what happens when you combine Revo Stage1 Performance software with an E888 Gen 3 2.0TSI motor? 0-60 in just 3.7 seconds is what!

Our widely anticipated Stage 1 software comes as a result of months of development, rigorous testing plus real world performance evaluation on our own development vehicles. A Stage 2 program is in development and due for release alongside supporting hardware. Revo performance software can be flashed directly to the MK7 Golf R through the OBD2 socket with no need for ECU removal.

Stage 1 is designed to work in harmony with an otherwise totally standard car to give gains to 365BHP and 354FT/LB of torque, up from the standard 296BHP and 280FT/LB.

Our test vehicles have clocked repeatable 0-60 MPH times of  3.7 seconds along with a 0-100MPH times of just 9.2 seconds using Racelogic GPS performance equipment. Car tested on private test track, on road legal tyres on Shell vPower.

An impressive improvement over the manufacturer quoted times of 4.9 seconds to 60MPH and 12.3 to 100MPH for the DSG equipped test mule.

Love driving? The latest Ford Fiesta ST is the ultimate definition of fun. It boasts a lightweight chassis, 1.6-litre turbocharged engine, front-wheel-drive configuration and a proper manual gearbox – driving nirvana! But just like its bigger brother – the Focus ST – this hot hatch can be transformed into a proper pocket rocket with the addition of our performance software…


Stage 1 – Jumping power up to 217bhp and 273lb-ft (depending on fuel and setup) our Stage 1 software is the fastest, easiest way to get big gains from your Fiesta ST. Over a second is shaved from the 0-60mph with Stage 1 taking just 6.1-seconds. In addition to this, we’ve put over 12,000-miles on the Stage 1 Fiesta ST (including 1000-miles on track) for maximum reliability in all driving conditions. This car eats the road up in a way you wouldn’t expect! Yet remains totally comfortable to use on a daily basis, truly the best of both worlds.


Stage 2 – This software has been specifically designed to attain the best possible performance from the Fiesta ST using a bolt-on performance exhaust, engine intake and intercooler upgrade. Stage 2 ties these upgraded components together to really turn the Fiesta into something special! Power is now boosted up to 229bhp and torque 293lb-ft (depending on fuel and setup) as well as giving gains all the way up to the 6800rpm rev limit. In addition to this, Stage 2 software features a ‘stock’ mode and can be setup to suit 95ron, 97ron and 98ron fuels if necessary. A Stage 2 Fiesta ST is in a different league and is more than capable of showing up a lot of bigger machinery!

Golf MK5, MK6 Geometry Adjustment Package

This week we are pleased to tell you about the latest innovation from our development team to provide geometry adjustment for the ever popular Volkswagen PQ35 platform. This includes Volkswagen Golf Mk5 and 6, Passat, Scirocco, Audi A3, S3 and TT.PFF85-501G Front Wishbone Front Bush Camber Adjustable This bush features a CNC machined Stainless Steel sleeve with an offset bore that can be rotated using our bespoke tooling (supplied), giving +/- 0.5 degrees of on-car camber adjustment.

For a non-adjustable version of this bush, use PFF85-501.

PFF85-502G Front Wishbone Rear Bush Anti-Lift & Caster Adjust  To achieve caster adjustment of 1 degrees and 7.5mm additional anti-lift properties, we have produced our own bracket and new polyurethane bush that increases the stiffness of the bush by 120% at a load of 4000N.

Our Black Series part increases stiffness by another 43%, to give a 214% increase in stiffness over the original part. The result is that the car experiences fewer changes in its geometry for a given load for more predictability and improved performance of the suspension.

Feedback from our test drivers has confirmed that adjustment made to the vehicles geometry dramatically increases traction and reduces front wheel hop. Changes made to the caster angle increase turn-in response and serve to eliminate torque steer.

The bracket kit is supplied with the bush already fitted using our high pressure tooling and is ready to fit straight onto the car using brand new corrosion resistant bolts.

For a non-adjustable version of this bush that fits into the original bracket, use PFF85-502.

Our bushes offer improved reliability over the original parts and of course carry our Lifetime Warranty.
For vehicles used in Motorsport or predominately on track, these new bushes are available in our Black Series range.

the assembly uses “ Float in the Bell” Technology, float is limited to 0.2mm compared to 0.5-0.7mm float disc systems such as Alcon or less capable AP racing setups

Custom rate developed bobbin springs allow design axial and radial float whilst maintaining OEM levels of noise.

Assembly’s proven to demonstrate excellent heat management by design in testing due to axial flow of air from behind the bearing to the centre of the disc via 48 vanes and a 17mm air gap, provision is also made for front face cooling via recessed vents on the reverse bell face.

Seat Leon Cupra 280 Revo remaps now available


The latest SEAT Leon Cupra is built around the MQB Chassis and uses the latest EA888 engine also shared with the VW Golf R and Audi S3. There’s been a lot of positive press about this Cupra, SEAT themselves proud to promote it as the hottest and most exciting Cupra they’ve ever made. With a sub 8 minute lap-time of the fabled Nurburgring under its belt the Cupra is certainly a capable car.

So, what can Revo do for it? We already know the Cupra is capable of more, as both the Golf R and S3 with the very same engine are making 20bhp more in factory form. From the months of development and testing already put into this engine we’ve shown its true potential in the release of our Stage1 software for the Golf R. Even when we were initially looking at our own Golf R and S3 we were excited to get our hands on a Cupra… they’ve always been a little more ‘frisky’ than their 4wd VW and Audi counterparts.

Worn Camshafts

Camshaft profilesMk4 Golf 1.9 TDI came to us with a lack of power and slight tapping noise from the engine.

Upon investigation we discovered the cam was severly worn causing loss of power and the tappet had worn through on cylinder 1 causing the tapping noise.

Camshaft Profiles 2We stripped down the engine as the worn cam caused metal particales to be present in the oil.

The engine was fully flushed for all contaminated oil and inspected thoroughly for metal particales.

Hydraulic TappetThe oil cooler was also replaced as this can collect metal particales which cannot be flushed out.

If you suffer from a lack of power and a tapping noise from your engine, please get in contact immediately as this fault can cause severe engine damage.

RS4 (B7) Milltek Exhaust
